The Road to Rehablitation
Maverick’s road to rehabilitation involves both physical healing and rebuilding trust. We’re working with his veterinary team to better understand his pelvic injury and guide his care, allowing his comfort and progress to shape each next step.
Gentle handling, a predictable routine, and positive experiences are central to his journey. Each relaxed interaction gives Maverick another opportunity to feel secure. Our focus is on helping him move comfortably and approach life with greater confidence.

Maverick is a sweet horse learning to feel safe and confident again after a training accident left him with a hind-end injury. His evaluations have pointed to a possible pelvic fracture or subluxation, and the experience affected his trust as well as his body.
For now, Maverick enjoys quiet walks, companionship, and his favorite job—helping mow the lawn. We’re taking the time to get to know him, rebuild his confidence, and support his recovery at his own pace.
