The Road to Rehabilitation
Veterinarian: Will monitor Izzy's osselets injury, evaluate her overall soundness, and develop a rehabilitation plan to support a comfortable transition into her second career.
Farrier: Will assess her trim and shoeing needs to provide proper support, balance, and comfort throughout rehabilitation.
Trainer: Will allow Izzy time to settle in before evaluating her personality, responsiveness, and learning style to create an individualized retraining plan.
Conditioning Program: As her rehabilitation progresses, Izzy will begin a gradual strength and fitness program focused on preparing her for a successful career as a trusted trail partner.

Izzy is beginning an exciting new chapter. This sweet, quiet Thoroughbred has left the racetrack behind and is now starting her journey toward a rewarding second career.
While an osselets injury means the show ring isn't in her future, it won't keep her from becoming an exceptional trail horse. As she continues her rehabilitation and begins our Track to Trail Program, we'll be sharing each step of her transformation.
