Fames Right Cross (Goober)

• Quarter Horse Gelding . 16.3hh

• Born 2007

• Arrival 2019

Goober is a handsome, gentle giant whose playful antics earned him his name. Donated by a family in Colorado, he joined us after a leg injury and pre-navicular issues ended his performance career as a team roping horse. This big guy has plenty of personality, a fondness for the ladies, and a special place in our family as Mel’s heart horse.

Today, Goober is an EERC Ambassador Horse, sharing trail adventures with Enchantment Equitreks guests and helping support our rescue and rehabilitation mission. He shows what a meaningful new chapter can look like for a horse whose competition days are behind him.
